Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about Weekmeal — meal planning, flyers and more.

What is Weekmeal?

Weekmeal is a meal planner that builds your weekly menus from your favourite meals, generates your grocery list and optimizes it against your stores’ flyers — so you eat varied meals without the mental load, and spend less.

How does Weekmeal use grocery flyers?

Every week, Weekmeal pulls the flyer deals from the stores you follow and steers your menus toward the relevant discounts. Your grocery list then shows where to buy each ingredient at the best price.

Which grocery stores are supported?

Major banners such as Maxi, IGA, Metro and Super C are among the flyers covered, and the list keeps growing. You pick your preferred stores and postal code for local deals.

Is Weekmeal free?

Yes. Every new account starts with a free 30-day Pro trial, no credit card required. After that you keep a functional Free plan, or upgrade to Pro for unrestricted flyers and all your recipes.

How does the AI meal-planning work?

From your household profile, recipes and preferences, Weekmeal builds a coherent weekly menu, varying proteins and factoring in the week’s deals. You stay in control: swap a meal or regenerate a day in one click.

Can it account for my family’s dietary restrictions?

Yes. You set your family size and each member’s dietary restrictions, and Weekmeal takes them into account when building your menus and grocery lists.

Do I get a grocery list?

Yes. Every menu automatically generates a consolidated grocery list, organized and optimized against flyer prices, which you can review and export.

Is my personal data protected?

Weekmeal is built to comply with Quebec’s Law 25: clear consent, export and deletion of your data on request, and no personal data in technical logs.
